Unfulfilled desire to have children
In young and healthy couples who have unprotected sex once or twice a week or once or twice during the fertile days, pregnancy should result in 20-25% per cycle and in 80-90% after one year. If no pregnancy has occurred after one year, this is clinically referred to as sterility (infertility). In the vast majority of these cases, there are organic causes. As many causes of infertility can be treated very well today, it is advisable to clarify possible causes now at the latest - preferably according to a step-by-step plan: firstly, simple examinations (such as semen examination, hormone examinations, cycle and ovulation diagnostics) should be carried out, followed by further examinations if necessary, for example of the fallopian tubes (using contrast ultrasound or laparoscopy (chromolaparoscopy).
If you have an unfulfilled desire to have children and general questions about further diagnostics, I am available for an individual online consultation. Many general details can also be found in the following interview (on the Fertility Congress).
In addition, you will find below a number of possible detailed topics that may be of interest to you and on which I will be happy to provide you with a personal online consultation...
