One or more miscarriages │ Recurrent miscarriage

You become pregnant but cannot hold the baby? The foetus has died (miscarriage/missed abortion)? Or you have haemorrhaged and the pregnancy has terminated? Was it possible to recognise an embryo in the ultrasound before the miscarriage? Was a heartbeat visible? Have you possibly already suffered several miscarriages? Is the course of the pregnancy similar or different each time? Was it possible to analyse the tissue microscopically and/or genetically? Have there been any further investigations into the possible causes of the miscarriages? Are there any treatment suggestions for another pregnancy?

For many years, I have been intensively involved with the various causes of single and recurrent miscarriages. I have counselled and cared for many couples with miscarriages and I know the suffering and uncertainty that is often felt in the lives of affected couples. First of all, it is important to clarify whether it is a case of one or more sporadic miscarriages, because although these cases are extremely stressful, there is no concrete risk of recurrence. So this is essentially about "support" and "stress reduction" and medical treatment, which may have many side effects, is not necessary and may even be contraindicated! Or is there a fundamental medical problem? In this case, there is a high risk of recurrence of further miscarriages. Without targeted diagnostics and knowledge of the causes, further pregnancies often have little chance of a normal birth and only increase the suffering! In this case, it is very important to know the therapeutic options and to utilise them in a targeted manner.

I am happy to offer you my extensive experience to assess your specific situation, all previous pregnancies and all available findings as part of an online consultation. We can discuss any unanswered questions about the meaning and possible consequences of existing or additional examinations at your leisure. It is particularly important to discuss all possible treatment options with regard to a further pregnancy and to weigh them up in your favour.

Under the menu items "Appointments" and "Contact" you will find all the details on how you can arrange a personal online appointment with me.
